On November 15, 2024, the Power Kids Club community came together for a meaningful and impactful food sorting event. Volunteers of all ages worked side by side to sort and itemize 40 Blizzard Boxes, a special initiative designed to benefit Meals on Wheels. These Blizzard Boxes are packed with non-perishable items to provide meals to those in need during the winter months.

In addition to assembling the Blizzard Boxes, the group also gathered nearly 60 pounds of food to be donated to the Reform Church of Nyack. This food donation will support the church’s feeding program, which helps ensure that local families facing food insecurity have access to nutritious meals.

The event was a heartwarming display of community spirit and generosity, with everyone coming together to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. Through their efforts, the Power Kids Club not only helped stock vital food programs but also instilled a sense of compassion and teamwork among its members.
